After G.S. David Raju retirement as Principal, Govt. Teacher Training College, Eluru (Under Graduate) in 1993, in 1993, he made up his mind to start one voluntary Association in the name of his beloved parents to serve the people below the poverty line Educationally with social and Educational Activities and got registered in the name and style of David’s Memorial Socio Educational Association with Regd. NO. 283/1983.

In 1983 Teacher Training Institute was started by him at Palakollu, and gave Teacher Training for 1983-84 and 1984-85 Batches. The Govt. of A.P. conducted an entrance test for the alone batch trainees and passed candidates were allowed to take short course of Teacher Training in D.I.E.T.S. The passed candidates are now working as teachers in different places in this state.

The above Association took up various social activities for the years 1985-86 to 1992-93 and brought good improvement among the families of S.C., S.T. and other backward communities.

The above Association had started Sri Rajiv Gandhi Memorial I.T.C. in 1993 at Pedatadepalli (V), Tadepalli Gudem (M) and obtained permanent affiliation orders by DGET, New Delhi, for 3+3 units in Electrician Trade and 1+1 units in Fitter Trade and gave technical training for the batches from 1993-95 to 2006-08 till now. The passed I.T.I. candidates are working as instructors and in other cadres in different industries.

The above Association had started St. Mary Stella College of Education at Pedatadepalli (V), Tadepalligudem (M) and obtained recognition from NCTE, Bangalore and affiliation from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and G.O. from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and conducted classes from 2002-03, 2003-04, 2005-06 batches. Last three batches students are working as teachers in Govt. Schools as well as Private Schools.

This college was established on 01-05-2003 by Late Galla Satyanand David Raju Garu, M.A., M.Ed. The correspondent of this college is Sri G. Rajmannar David Raj garu and also the President of the Association. The Principal of this College is Sri J. Subba Rao garu, M.A., M.A., M.Ed.
